Our Mission
The Friends of Los Ninos, a Nonprofit corporation of volunteers, bound together by God through our faith in Jesus Christ and guided by the Holy Spirit, understand this Mission to be the care and nurture of orphaned, abandoned, and sick children in Mexico. Believing that Children are often born without choice or voice and children are not always born with rights.
Therefore, we as Christians have a duty to provide shelter, nourishment, education, physical and social development within a loving environment that introduces each orphaned or abandoned child, by both direction and example, to Jesus Christ our Lord, and further, to provide a Christian outreach in which we and others may participate and experience this opportunity to serve Him.
We’ve made a promise to our donors, as well as to the orphanages we support, that the vast majority of donations will go towards the support and care of the children. There are some minor administration costs.
Everyone that works for FOLN is a volunteer. They receive no salary or compensation for their time or efforts.

A Letter From the President
March 1, 2018
Dear Friends,
As many of you already know, Claude Wilson, our president for over 20 years passed away unexpectedly on Christmas Eve. In his memory, we are carrying on Claude’s legacy in Friends of Los Ninos where Claude had dedicated his life. I worked with Claude on the Board of Los Ninos for over nine years. While I cannot address everything he personally did this last year, I will attempt to give you a summary of the things that were accomplished and what our plan is going forward.
I want to start by thanking all of you who have donated your time, your resources, and kept our organization and the children we serve in your prayers. All that has been accomplished in the past and going forward is dependent on you and your benevolent support. As Claude always stated, we count ourselves privileged and honored to work with you in this mission to orphaned, abandoned and abused children.
The routine outreach continued this last year with food and supplies for Colina de Luz, San Jose, and Casa Mama Anna. We also continued educational sponsorship for two girls at the University.
So far in 2018, we have added back another orphanage to our list, La Gloria. We are helping them with monthly food purchases. We are continuing to look for additional well-run orphanages in need of our support and also looking for additional qualified children for educational sponsorships.
I’m excited to announce that we have added a number of members to our board. Many of them personally knew Claude and his passion for this ministry. I can’t wait to see where the Lord takes us!
Thank you again for all your support and prayers!
God bless,
Lori Leiser
